Support HWPI and the Border-to-Border Trail

The Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative’s (HWPI) efforts are made possible by the generous donations of individuals, families, businesses, and foundations. Your tax-deductible gifts empower us to pursue our vision of healthy, active, and connected communities by supporting the development of new, non-motorized pathways that extend the Border-to-Border Trail (B2B) within Washtenaw County and beyond.

The Karen’s Trail Campaign is HWPI’s 2017 fundraising drive, championed by Karen McKeachie’s family and many friends. Karen was a world-class triathlete, athletic pioneer, community leader, and a force of nature to all who knew her. Her life was tragically ended last year, while cycling on a local road. The Karen’s Trail Campaign honors Karen’s life and legacy, by supporting the expansion of safe recreational opportunities for everyone in the region. To learn more about the exceptional life of Karen McKeachie, please visit the Karen’s Trail website.

Your support is greatly appreciated and all donations to HWPI are tax deductible. Online donations will be processed through CrowdRise by our fiduciary sponsor, the Michigan Fitness Foundation. You will receive a tax receipt for your online donation via e-mail.
