When you support the Border to Border Trail (B2B Trail) with a donation to the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI), you are helping to sustain and nurture the ongoing work of trail development and community outreach. Donations to the B2B Trail through HWPI go directly to constructing additional miles of trail and funding ongoing maintenance, capital improvements and support for the B2B Trail.

All financial donations to the B2B Trail are administered by the Huron Waterloo Pathways Initiative (HWPI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and partner of Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation and the Border to Border Trail initiative. Contributions to HWPI are 100% tax-deductible, to the extent allowable by law.

Monthly Giving

IRA Distributions
Did you know that you can support the growth of the B2B Trail by making a donation from your IRA? If you are 70 ½ or older, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA which provides a tax and penalty-free donation. Please consult your financial advisor to learn more about how both you and the B2B Trail can benefit.
Stock Transfers
